IT Business Analyst

Parallax Works is seeking a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with both IT teams and business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies. Serving as a bridge between stakeholders and IT teams, the successful candidate will gather requirements, document processes, and perform user acceptance testing.

Duties:

• Elicit, analyze, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and assist in the prioritization of needs.
• Liaise between various business departments and groups
• Collaborate with IT professionals to determine the system's design and potential issues.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that requirements meet business needs.
• Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations.
• Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organization.
• Attending meetings to gather requirements from clients and users.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with a thorough knowledge of data analysis and software evaluation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, business administration, or related field.
